Johnny Devenanzio, aka Johnny Bananas, first came on the scene back in 2006 when he was cast on MTV's The Real World: Key West. Since that time, he has been a regular on The Challenge, the popular reality television game show that pits former cast members from The Real World and the now defunct Road Rules against each other in a series of missions.
Fresh off of his most recent Challenge appearance, Johnny took some time out from his visit to NYC to discuss his victory in the Battle of the Exes, his rise to becoming one of the most prolific and profitable Challenge players to date, harassing CT, and his preparations for future seasons of the show.

Still can't believe Johnny took down old man Mark Long in that last duel, looks like Mark had him by about 20-30 pounds. Bananas proving to be a beast in these things.

@Mellisa Rodgers - why is everyone so sentimental about wanting Diem/CT to win? They dated like a decade ago it seems at this point. everyone needs to let it go, esp MTV who was pushing it in our face trying to make it the top story in this battle of the exes challenge.

As far as not knowing the format until they get there, the rivals format was leaked way before they got to Costa Rica. Multiple people have said this.
